About NDRC


As a specialized training organization directly affiliated to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the People’s Republic of China, the NDRC Training Centre is responsible for delivering and managing education and training to civil servants of NDRC, cadres of units under NDRC and those working in the nationwide NDRC system.
 
Formerly known as “National Planning Commission’s Training Centre for Chinese Public Cadres” that founded in 1983, the organization was renamed “NDRC Training Centre” in 2003 upon approval by the State Commission for Public Sector Reform.
 
Authorized by NDRC, the Training Centre takes in general the responsibilities to
 
1. Design plans and management regulations of trainings to civil servants of NDRC; organize and implement all kinds of training works, such as primary training, employment training, and business training to civil servants of NDRC’s units.
 
2. Organize seminars for cadres of NDRC and its nationwide units to discuss and exchange about significant issues related to China’s economic and social development, and facilitate the establishment and the implement of relevant policies, measures, and concepts.
 
3. Organize trainings and seminars of specific works and policies for cadres of NDRC and its nationwide units.
 
4. Research the theories and practices of trainings to cadres.
 
5. Guide the training works of NDRC’s nationwide units.
 
6. Work on affairs of NDRC’s Leading Office of Abroad Intelligence Introduction and organize associated trainings and seminars in cooperation with international institutions.
 
7. Deliver remote trainings to cadres through Internet and satellite.
 
8. Provide various kinds of quality training and further education programs to the public.
