The HEC EMBA China program is presented under the auspices of the Education and Training Centre for Officials and Entrepreneurs (ETCOE) for the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and is internationally accredited and recognized by the French Ministry of Education. It is open to participants coming from the private sector and MNCs. HEC Paris has successfully held 4 classes in Beijing and Shanghai since 2006.
The HEC Executive MBA China program has been developed to strengthen the technical expertise and leadership skills of Executives in China to stimulate economic development and facilitate further integration into the world economy.
The Executive MBA is a practical, generalist program providing a set of fundamental tools and skills for experienced managers who wish to add both breadth and depth to their knowledge. The EMBA enables the participant to learn not only from the faculty but also from the other participants, who bring to the classroom a wealth of practical business experience from a wide spectrum of industries and management functions. It provides a unique opportunity for participants to acquire the skills and global vision they require to successfully lead their organizations through challenging landscapes.

The admissions process for the HEC Executive MBA China program is rigorous. Participants are approved by the training center of the SASAC.

Participation in the program is intended for managers who fulfill the following criteria:Hold at least a Bachelor degree, in any subject
- Have a minimum of 8 years professional experience, 5 years in a managerial position
- A working knowledge of English is recommended
- Be supported by their company (be provided the time necessary to participate in the program).
