HEC EMBA Study Trip to China: Best Moments Recapture

November 19, 2010

This year for the first time in history, the HEC EMBA Program has taken its Study Trip to China, in Beijing and Shanghai.

From October 23 to 30, 65 participants from 5 different HEC executive programs (One-day Week, Modulaire, English Track, Weekend Paris and Russian Track) joined together in this unique experience. The Study Trip combined site-seeing, company visits and thematic lectures. Not only did the participants get the opportunity to appreciate the cultural and historical heritage of China, but they also had the chance to discover the real China in the business perspective during their 8-day stay. In spite of a busy schedule, participants still had a great time visiting the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and Shanghai World Expo. A 3-day executive training course in Tsinghua University along with company visits to Star Custom Auto, Veolia Water and SinoTrans Integrated Logistics in Shanghai allowed participants to have a first-hand experience of “how to do business in China?”.

Welcome cocktails and gatherings were organized for the group. Also, alumni from HEC EMBA China programs joined the group to share together their study and professional experiences both in China and abroad.

Let’s review some of the moments:
