CEOs, shopkeepers, students, representatives of municipalities who contribute on a daily basis to the economic vitality of the Paris Capital Region, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) is your everyday partner. It offers advice and service from right beside you, via its constituency delegations in Paris, the Hauts-de-Seince, the Seine-Saint-Denis and the Val-de-Marne. Its location at the heart of the largest national economic basin enables it to anticipate the new economic challenges and prepare you for them. Lastly, the CCIP helps you understand the changes in the European market – and seize the opportunities it offers.
At the service of the 320,000 companies of Paris and the surrounding three departments (Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis and Val-de-Marne), the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a public institution managed by 80 elected company CEOs. They determine the institution’s principal orientations based on the experience they have gained in firms on a day-to-day basis.
The CCIP intervenes in numerous fields relating to economic and company life. It mobilizes the skills of 4,000 employees who every day place their expertise at the service of companies by anticipating their needs and offering them innovative services.
Starting up or taking over a firm, carrying out market studies, training oneself or one’s employees, exporting one’s products and services to the other side of the world, familiarizing oneself with new technologies, demonstrating one’s know-how in the largest international trade exhibitions… The CCIP intervenes in many fields involving company life; it mobilizes strong and diverse capabilities to carry out its mission.
All of its activities are centered around four mission:
Representing:
The CCIP’s elected representatives regularly make their concerns about major economic and societal issues know to local, national and European authorities as well as to international organizations. Using their experience gained as entrepreneurs, they call on the expertise of teams to suggest regulatory and legislative changes favorable to company development.
Accompanying:
From starting up to handing along or taking over a firm and at each step of company development, the CCIP accompanies and advises entrepreneurs. It encourages their entrepreneurial spirit and opens new opportunities and markets for them, particularly international ones.
Educating:
In its 12 schools and 13 training centers, the CCIP educates 14,000 students as well as more than 30,000 CEOs and employees in continuing education. Constantly refining the programs they offer, these institutions represent for companies a breeding ground of skills tailored to the needs o the job market.
Developing:
An economic lever of the Capital Region, the CCIP has committed itself fully to enhance the attractiveness of the Ile-de-France region for foreign investors. It carries out a dynamic and innovative policy for managing trade fairs and conventions (4.5 billion euros yearly of indirect and direct economic benefits).
