Invited by Xiamen University, Professor Brian To gave a lecture during a four-day study trip to Li Jiang for the Real Estate EMBA program of Xiamen University on the 23rd and 24th of October. The lecture was consisted of a 2-day course on “leadership”.

“Leadership” has always been an essential module among all 13 modules of the HEC Executive MBA program. During the cooperation with Xiamen University this time, Prof. To re-designed the course in accordance with the professional background of the participants. Prof. To concentrated his research on leadership of recent years into a two-day course. During the module, the participants were amazed by the lively teaching style, innovative game-oriented pedagogical model of the professor and also the well-prepared multimedia content. Warm feedback was made by the professors in the participation of the module: the participants undoubtedly benefited a lot from the study trip organized by HEC Paris and Xiamen University. Not only did they re-examine their leadership skills, but they also greatly improved the theoretical knowledge of management.

The collaboration between HEC Paris and Xiamen University has shown the significant increase of awareness of HEC Paris in the academic entrepreneurial management in China. The HEC Executive MBA program has not only set a quality standard for domestic training programs for managers and executives, but has also built up a good platform between the domestic executive training programs and international top-level academic researchers of management.
