 Step 1: Define

This first step provides the information necessary to make the decision as to whether the client’s needs are best addressed.

It involves a strategic needs assessment: identification of client needs, challenges, goals, and objectives in order to effectively focus the program and address the client’s change dynamic.

Step 2: Develop
 
Working together with the client, the HEC Paris faculty reviews company research, and conducts in-depth interviews with management and prospective participants alike.
The resulting wealth of information, including that gathered during the Define process, is analyzed and validated; the resulting conclusions provide a clear definition of program content and deliverables.

Step 3: Deliver
 

HEC Paris faculty presents the program sessions and services customized to the client’s industry and specific needs as determined in the Define process.

Step 4: Dissect

At the end of each session, a detailed evaluation process takes place to determine what refinements are needed. These may include revision of content, format, focus or any of the many individual elements making up the session. During and after delivery, we work with our clients to measure and evaluate the results of the solutions, and to obtain feedback for program improvements.

There is a virtuous circle between Executive Education and research. Research is the raw material from which we develop custom programs; while delivering the program, new knowledge is created.
