Thomas Bittner

Professor Thomas Bittner holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Nuclear Techniques and Mathematics specialization from the Federal Institute of Technology of Zürich and also a Master of Business Administration with a Strategy specialization from INSEAD. After five years of consultant work with McKinsey in different offices, he has been running multibillions dollars companies as Chief Operating Officer or Chief Executive Officer in Germany, United Kingdom, France and United States. Thomas Bittner has rich experiences in strategy design and implementation, turnaround situations in Europe and United States, restructuration of companies to adapt to globalization, acquisitions in Europe, North & South America, Asia and South Africa and operational business development and business consolidation. Before joining HEC Paris last year he was Board Member of a division of the biggest steel manufacturer in the world, in charge of Strategy and Change Management.
